Your home screen

The home screen is the first thing you see when you open the Glovora app. It gives you a live summary of your account and quick access to everything your clinic offers.

The top bar

At the very top of the screen is your clinic's logo on the left. On the right are a search icon (tap to search for treatments, offers, and memberships) and a shopping bag icon showing how many items are in your cart.

The greeting and action pills

Below the logo is a personalised greeting — Good morning, Good afternoon, or Good evening — followed by your first name.

Beneath the greeting are two pill-shaped buttons:

  • Wallet balance pill (left) — shows your current Beauty Bank balance. Tap it to open your wallet.
  • Check-in for rewards (right) — tap this to open the camera scanner so you can scan your clinic's QR code and check in for your visit. If you are not yet registered, this button shows Join & earn rewards instead.
tip

The Scan quick action further down the home screen is different — it opens your personal patient QR code (your digital ID card) that you show to clinic staff so they can scan you in. See the Checking in and earning rewards article for full details on both methods.

Progress bar

Below the action pills is a thin progress bar and a motivational message showing how close you are to your next reward — for example, "Almost there! Just 2 more visits or £50 to your next reward." This updates in real time as you check in and make purchases.

Personalised sections

Scrolling down, the home screen shows several sections depending on your account:

Recently viewed — treatments and services you have browsed recently. Tap any card to return to that service's detail page. Only shown when you are signed in.

Automated offers — time-sensitive offers from your clinic such as birthday or anniversary promotions.

Membership showcase — if your clinic offers membership plans, they are displayed here. Tap a plan to view full details or join.

Beauty Bank wallet card — a summary of your wallet balance. Only shown when you are signed in.

Clinic map and contact — your clinic's location and contact details. Tap to open in Maps or call directly.

Featured offers — current promotions from your clinic. Tap any offer to see details and add it to your cart.

Google review card — if your clinic has configured a Google review link, a "Can We Ask a Favour?" card appears asking you to leave a review. Tap Leave a Review to open your clinic's Google review page. This is not a reward — it is simply a request from your clinic.

Quick actions

Near the bottom of the home screen is a horizontally scrollable row of Quick Actions — six shortcut buttons:

Refreshing the home screen

Pull down anywhere on the home screen to refresh your data — this updates your progress, offers, wallet balance, and membership information.

Common mistakes

Progress bar not updating after a visit Your reward progress updates after a short delay following check-in or purchase. Pull down to refresh if it has not updated. If it still looks wrong after a few minutes, contact your clinic.

Tapping "Check-in for rewards" expecting to see your QR code The "Check-in for rewards" pill opens the camera scanner so you can scan the clinic's QR code. To show your own patient QR code to staff instead, tap the Scan quick action button further down the screen, or tap the Scan tab in the bottom navigation bar.

Offers disappearing Offers have an expiry date set by your clinic. If an offer you saw yesterday is no longer visible, it has ended. New offers appear regularly.

Not seeing the wallet balance pill The wallet balance pill only appears when you are signed in to a full account. If you see a guest view, tap Join & earn rewards to register or log in.
