Booking an appointment

If your clinic has online booking enabled, you can schedule appointments directly through the Glovora app. This article explains how to find a time slot and confirm your booking.

How to start a booking

There are several ways to open the booking screen:

  • Tap Book in the quick actions on the home screen.
  • Tap Book on a treatment's detail page in the Shop tab.
  • Tap Use now on an included benefit in your Profile → Membership tab.

Choosing a provider

The booking screen first asks you to choose which staff member you would like your appointment with. Each available provider is shown with their name and the treatments they offer.

Tap a provider to select them. The calendar and time slots below will update to show their availability.

tip

If only one provider is available for a treatment, they are selected automatically and you move straight to choosing a date and time.

Choosing a date

A calendar is shown below the provider selection. Tap any available date to select it. Dates with no available slots are greyed out and cannot be selected.

Choosing a time slot

Once you have selected a date, the available time slots for that day appear below the calendar. Tap the slot you want.

Adding pre-visit notes (optional)

Below the time slots is an optional Pre-visit Notes field. Tap it to expand and type any information your provider should know before your appointment — for example, allergies, medications, skin sensitivities, or any special requests.

This information is shared with your provider before the appointment. It is limited to 500 characters.

Reviewing and confirming

Once you have selected a provider, date, and time, a summary appears showing:

  • Treatment name
  • Provider name
  • Date and time

Tap Confirm Appointment to book. If the slot requires payment, you will be taken through the checkout flow before the booking is confirmed.

Once confirmed, a screen showing Appointment Confirmed appears with the full details. The appointment is added to your upcoming appointments in the Glovora app and, if your clinic uses Google Calendar sync, to their calendar automatically.

Time slots can be taken by another patient between the moment you select one and the moment you confirm. If this happens, you will see a message saying the slot is no longer available — simply choose a different time.

Rescheduling or cancelling

To manage an existing appointment, go to your Profile → Treatments tab to see your upcoming bookings. Contact your clinic directly to reschedule or cancel — rescheduling is not currently available from within the app.

Common mistakes

No time slots showing for a date If a date has no available slots, it may be fully booked, outside the provider's working hours, or the clinic may not have availability configured for that day. Try a different date or contact your clinic directly.

Booking confirmation not arriving Booking confirmations are shown on-screen immediately after confirming. If you navigate away before seeing the confirmation, check your upcoming appointments in the Profile tab to verify the booking was recorded.

Pre-visit notes not reaching the provider Pre-visit notes are sent to the clinic when you confirm the booking. If you add notes after confirming, they will not be included. Add any important information before tapping Confirm Appointment.
