QR code & in-clinic promotion
Your clinic itself is your best promotional asset. Every patient who walks through the door is already interested in what you offer — they just need to know the app exists. A well-placed QR code and a brief mention from your team can convert a walk-in visit into a long-term app user.
Getting your QR code
Your app download link can be turned into a QR code using any free QR generator (such as qr.io or qrcode-monkey.com).
For best results:
- Download the QR as a PNG at high resolution (at least 1000×1000px) so it prints cleanly
- Test it with your phone before printing — make sure it scans correctly
- Add your clinic logo and a short headline like "Scan to earn rewards" to the design
Where to place your QR code
Reception desk
The single most important placement. A small A5 or A6 printed card propped on the counter works perfectly. Patients waiting to check in or check out have time and a phone in their hand.

Treatment rooms
A small card or sticker on the mirror or near the bed means patients see it during treatment — often when they have nothing to do and their phone is nearby.
Product shelves and retail area
If you sell retail products, a QR code near the shelf ties the app to purchasing. "Scan to earn points on retail purchases" is a simple, effective message.
Packaging and aftercare sheets
If you send patients home with aftercare instructions or branded bags — add the QR code. Patients often look at these later and download the app from home.
Waiting area
A small framed print or table tent. Patients waiting to be called in often scroll their phone — give them something to scan.
What to say when a patient scans
"Great — once you've downloaded it, sign in with your mobile number and your rewards will start building from today's visit. If you have any trouble, just show us and we'll help."
Scan check-in
Your Glovora app includes a Scan Check-In feature accessible from the CRM header. When a patient opens the app and taps the QR icon on the home screen, they can scan in at reception — which awards their visit points instantly.
To use it: tap Scan Check-in in the top right of your CRM, and ask the patient to open their app and show the QR code on the home screen.
Making it a team habit
- Set a monthly download target (e.g. 20 new sign-ups this month) and track it as a team
- Brief new staff members on the app during onboarding
- Celebrate milestones — when you hit 50, 100, 200 app users, acknowledge it with the team
